Policies, Payment Terms & TEFA / ESA Disclosures

General Policies

  • All tuition, fees, and service rates are subject to change at the discretion of Launch Academy.

  • Enrollment is contingent upon student readiness, program fit, and available capacity.

  • Registration fees are non-refundable and secure placement only for the agreed-upon academic term.

Tuition Payment Structure

  • Tuition is billed on a semester basis, unless otherwise specified in writing.

  • Payment due dates are structured to align with anticipated state funding cycles when applicable.

  • Families not utilizing TEFA/ESA funding may elect standard payment plans as outlined in their enrollment agreement.

TEFA / ESA Funding Alignment (Texas Education Funding Assistance / Education Savings Accounts)

Launch Academy structures its billing practices to align with anticipated TEFA/ESA disbursement timelines. While exact state timelines are subject to change, the following framework applies:

  • TEFA/ESA funds are anticipated to be distributed in two primary cycles (e.g., April and October).

  • Tuition payments are typically due on the 1st of the month following a funding disbursement cycle to allow families time to access and allocate funds.

  • Families electing to utilize TEFA/ESA funding remain ultimately responsible for all tuition and fees, regardless of state funding delays, denials, or changes in eligibility.

Deposit & Enrollment Protection

  • A $2,200 registration fee is required to secure enrollment.

  • For TEFA/ESA applicants, Launch Academy may offer conditional enrollment protections, including limited-time refundable deposit provisions, as communicated during the enrollment period.

  • Enrollment is not guaranteed until both registration and required documentation are completed.

Third-Party & Vendor Services

  • Certain services (including therapy, ABA support, or external providers) may be eligible for TEFA/ESA funding but are not included in tuition unless explicitly stated.

  • Launch Academy may coordinate with approved vendors; however, families are responsible for managing and authorizing third-party services.

Financial Responsibility Clause

  • By enrolling, families acknowledge that they are financially responsible for all contracted tuition and services, regardless of:

    • TEFA/ESA approval status

    • Funding delays or interruptions

    • Changes in state policy or eligibility

Program & Operational Flexibility

  • Launch Academy reserves the right to modify programming, staffing models, schedules, and service availability to best meet student needs and operational requirements.

  • Participation in any program requires adherence to Launch Academy policies, procedures, and code of conduct as outlined in the Family Handbook.
